Give Supervisors More Than a Title

The Leading FORWARD™ Implementation Cohort is an eight-module leadership-development experience designed to help supervisors practice the people-side behaviors of leadership.

The cohort combines:

  • The FORWARD Leadership Method™

  • Real workplace application

  • Practical leadership tools

  • Reflection and discussion

  • Observable behavior practice

  • Support and accountability

  • A 30–60–90 Leadership Growth Roadmap

The goal is not to complete a program and return to old habits.
The goal is to build a practice rhythm that continues after the program ends.

From Awareness Into Practice

Leadership growth requires:
  • Ownership

  • Rhythm

  • Evidence

Participants identify one leadership behavior, connect it to a real workplace trigger, practice it consistently, and review the evidence of change.

The Leadership Growth Roadmap

Step 1: Choose One FORWARD Stage

Begin with one stage:

  • Frame

  • Regulate

  • Address

  • Develop

  • Own

  • Win Trust

  • Raise

The goal is not to work on everything at once.
The goal is to choose one meaningful behavior and practice it intentionally.

Step 2: Name the Friction

Identify:

  • Where is the issue showing up?

  • What keeps happening?

  • What result do I want to change?

Step 4: Attach the Behavior to a Trigger

Complete the statement:

When this happens, I will do this.

Identify:

  • My trigger

  • My leadership move

Step 6: Define Evidence

Ask:

  • What will show that the behavior is changing?

  • What will the team experience differently?

  • What will people do, say, or understand differently?

Business Team Discussion
Step 3: Name One Observable Behavior

Avoid broad statements such as:

I want to communicate better.
Instead, identify a behavior that someone could actually see or hear.

Step 5: Identify Support

Ask:

  • Who can help keep this behavior visible?

  • What support do I need?

  • What resource, feedback, or accountability would help?

Step 7: Establish a 30–60–90 Rhythm

30 Days: Practice

What will I practice consistently over the next 30 days?

60 Days: Consistency

Where must the behavior survive more pressure?

90 Days: Evidence

What evidence will I review to decide what comes next?

30–60–90 Leadership Review

30-Day Review: Practice

  • What behavior did I practice?

  •  Where did I use it?

  • Where did I miss?

  • Where did I miss?

60-Day Review: Consistency

  • Where did the behavior survive pressure?

  • Where did I stop?

  • What adjustment is needed?

90-Day Review: Evidence

  • What evidence shows that the behavior changed?

  • What did the team experience differently?

  • Where did my Accountability Dial move?

  • What is my next move?

Build the Practice Rhythm

The cohort helps supervisors move from awareness to action and from action to consistency.
Participants practice leadership in real moments, reflect on what happened, identify what needs to be repaired or clarified, and choose the next visible move.
